Fred Gomes & Ranking Pow – Escuta!

“¡Escucha!” An EP that celebrates the Latin American connection between Brazil and Mexico through the 20-year partnership between Fred Gomes and Ranking Pow

The EP was produced over several years by Fred Gomes (BRA) and Ranking Pow (MEX), always following the motto: “sin prisa, pero sin pausa” (without hurry, but without stopping).
Both had previously collaborated in 2007, and nearly 20 years later they celebrate their long-standing connection and partnership.

It features 8 tracks digitally produced by Eric Solei (Ranking Pow) and edited by Fred, who also added vocals, guitar, and melodica to some of them.
The compositions by singer and MC Fred Gomes mark a return to his roots, strongly exploring the ragga style that defined the beginning of his career.

Fred also handled the EP’s mixing, while Gustavo Koshikumo was responsible for the mastering of yet another release from the Brazilian reggae and dub label InBraDub!
